Its weathered, ancient stones just visible on the small hill at the corner of Kings Highway and the Wilton Road, Kings Highway Colonial Cemetery contains many 18th century gravestones as well as has the distinction as being part of the high-ground site of where General Benedict Arnold lay in wait with his Continental forces in Westport to attack British regulars returning from the raid on Danbury in April 1777.
On Sunday, April 26, from 1 to 1:30 pm, take a virtual journey through this graveyard with Nicole Carpenter, Programs Director, to learn more about the residents of this treasure of Westport.
