Happy Hour at the Boathouse, Westport's Waterfront Dining Gem

I just learned that the Boathouse, Westport's premier waterfront dining venue, has a happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, with $5 drinks and a fun, light bite menu.

What could be better than sipping a delicious (and discounted) cocktail overlooking the Saugatuck on a (soon-to-feel-like) spring afternoon? There's even an outdoor deck where you can enjoy warm afternoons and evenings and watch Westport's well-known waterfowl flying over and landing in the river.

The Boathouse also offers full-service catering for your corporate, non-profit, and personal events. Many Westporters still don't know about the Boathouse, which means two things: you'll be able to get a great table, and you can take a friend to a place he or she hasn't been before.

The Boathouse is located on the second floor of the Saugatuck Rowing Club and is open to the public for lunch and dinner. (Some people think it's the Club's private dining room, but it isn't. Everyone is welcome.)

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday, serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., with dinner service from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday. The Boathouse is closed Sundays and Mondays.
