Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
Meet Brad W Radulovacki, owner of AFC Urgent Care Stamford.
Why did you start your business?
I started the urgent care business to make quality healthcare services more accessible and affordable.
What is your best-selling product/service?:
Physical exams are most in demand at our clinic: back-to-school, pre-employment, Department of Transportation, immigration, and adult wellness physicals.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Fastsigns, DOT Generation, various restaurants, County Appliance, CVS, Home Goods, Staples, Home Depot, A&N Plumbing and Heating, SuperK Electric, C&C Service, Servpro of Stamford and many others.
Have you reimagined your small business?
We have transformed our business over the past 10 years to serve our patient's needs. We started as an accessible (walk-in) version of primary care. Then, we pivoted to offer drive-thru and, later, in-center testing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, we are upgrading our patient interactions by offering technology enhancements along with new services.
