43rd Annual Strawberry Festival in Southbury on June 9 from 11 am to 3pm
The United Church of Christ, Southbury invites strawberry lovers every year to its annual Strawberry Festival, an event celebrating the beginning of summer, in June.
More than 500 people visit the Church Green to enjoy delicious homemade strawberry desserts, grilled food, children’s activities, a bouncy-house, plant sale, live music, and local vendors. Last year, nearly half a ton of strawberries were used in the festival's famous shortcakes! Competition is always fierce in the annual strawberry pie bake-off competition!
