Trauma Sensitive Yoga - a community offering

Laura Babala, LCSW, CYT, TCTSY leads this class - Laura uses compassion, connection, and a little bit of humor as she accompanies people who have experienced trauma on their paths to healing. She encourages getting to know your own stories, befriending your body, and bringing lives back into connection and balance through finding joy in the rhythms of daily life. In case you’re wondering about qualifications, Laura is a licensed clinical social worker and holds an MSW from University of Pennsylvania, a postgraduate certification in attachment and advanced clinical skills from NYU, and many hours of continuing education on treating trauma and somatic processing. She completed her 200-hour yoga certification at Basil Yoga; 40-hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga training with David Emerson; and the Unconditional Model for trauma informed yoga with Liberation Prison Yoga.
