The Gift of Joy: Ridgefield PRIDE and Rodier Flowers Decorate the Town!

Joyful and festive rainbow bows adorn Ridgefield’s trees and lampposts to usher in Pride Month, the result of an extraordinary act of generosity. The handmade decorations celebrate our LGBTQ+ community and affirm Ridgefield’s reputation as a welcoming town. This year's bow-making was an endeavor of love, caring, and teamwork.

Ridgefield CT Pride consulted with Mary Jones, owner of Rodier Flowers, who generously provided insight on materials and a team to create the 62 bright and cheerful bows. Every year since the first Pride in the Park in (year ), Rodier Flowers has delivered a spectacular rainbow colored floral arrangement to the Ballard Park gazebo to kick off the celebration. This year, Ridgefield CT Pride is grateful to Rodier for helping us realize our dream of spreading love and the beauty of acceptance throughout the town of Ridgefield.

Ridgefield’s fifth annual Pride in the Park celebration will take place this Saturday, June 1st from 12 - 3 pm in Ballard Park, 485 Main Street, Ridgefield, with a march around the park starting at 1pm.
