Why Teachers Should Moonlight With Muse Squad
Muse Squad, a dynamic creative writing program designed to nurture and inspire young writers, is excited to announce that it seeks passionate and experienced educators to join its team of instructors. As part of our commitment to fostering creativity and developing the next generation of writers, we invite current teachers to moonlight with Muse Squad and help guide students on their literary journeys.
An Opportunity to Inspire Beyond the Classroom
Teachers are at the heart of the education system, and Muse Squad is looking to tap into this wealth of experience to inspire young minds outside the traditional classroom setting. By joining Muse Squad as an instructor, teachers can work with a diverse group of young writers in a creative, supportive environment.
This is a unique opportunity to extend your teaching skills to a new generation of aspiring writers, helping them hone their craft, explore their creativity, and gain confidence in their abilities. Whether you teach language arts, social studies, or even mathematics, if you have a passion for storytelling, writing, and nurturing creativity, Muse Squad offers an ideal outlet to share your talents.
Why Teachers Should Consider Becoming Muse Squad Instructors
1. Work with Motivated, Creative Students
2. The students who join Muse Squad are passionate about writing and eager to learn. As an instructor, you'll be able to engage with a group of young writers excited to develop their storytelling abilities. Whether they're working on short stories, poetry, or the beginning of a novel, your guidance can impact their growth as writers.
3. Foster a Love for Writing and Literacy
4. Teachers already understand the value of fostering literacy skills. Still, as an instructor for Muse Squad, you'll be able to focus specifically on creative writing in a fun, engaging, and enriching way. Your influence will help shape students into confident writers who can express themselves through narrative and gain a deeper appreciation for the written word.
5. Flexible, Part-Time Opportunity (We will come to you and find a home for Muse Squad in your town!)
6. Moonlighting with Muse Squad allows teachers to supplement their income while maintaining their full-time commitments in the classroom. Our classes are typically offered after school hours or on weekends, providing a flexible schedule that can work around your teaching duties. Plus, you'll be able to bring your unique perspective as an educator to a group of like-minded young people, making a difference in a more intimate setting.
8. As a Muse Squad Instructor, you'll join a vibrant community of passionate educators who value creativity and the written word. Our team is supportive, collaborative, and dedicated to providing young writers a meaningful experience. You'll have the opportunity to share ideas, connect with other educators, and grow professionally and personally.
9. Competitive Compensation
10. In addition to the satisfaction of nurturing the next generation of writers, Muse Squad offers competitive pay rates for its instructors. We value your expertise and dedication and believe that instructing the next wave of young creatives should be both fulfilling and financially rewarding.

The program provides an inclusive, supportive space for young writers to explore their craft, learn key literary devices, and build a portfolio of work. Muse Squad offers classes, workshops, and events to inspire students, build confidence, and foster a lasting love for creative writing. Students are encouraged to develop their voices, whether just starting out or refining their writing style, through engaging exercises, peer support, and instructor guidance.
At Muse Squad, our mission is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop as writers in an environment that celebrates their unique perspectives and ideas.
