The Rotary Club has partnered with Parks & Recreation for over 25 years!
Each year, Parks & Rec handles the layout of Ballard Park, and the Rotary Club supplies and sets out all 6,000 eggs.
It takes a team of 8 to 10 people about 20 minutes to get the eggs in place. The eggs are produced by an organization—similar to The Prospector—that supports individuals with disabilities.
Once the event starts, the eggs are scooped up in under two minutes, depending on the age group. It’s known as one of the fastest community events in Ridgefield!
