Celebrate Scottish-American Heritage Month by sewing a Scottish Terrier stuffie! Join KTM&HC educators on International Tartan Day. Other activities include coloring Scottish themed “stained glass,” designing your own tartan, and a cozy reading corner with children’s books.
The theme continues on our museum tour, where visitors will meet Margaret Ross—the Gilbert’s long-time cook—who immigrated to New York from Glasgow, Scotland in 1904.
