This afternoon, Thursday, December 12, 2024, The Ridgefield Playhouse proudly unveiled the all-new American Metal Fueling Station, marking an exciting addition to its venue.
Made possible by American Metal and owner Chris Bishop, The American Metal Fueling Station is a striking full-service bar, adorned with vintage photographs of custom-restored cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles from the garage. Above the images is a sleek chrome metal bar, complemented by shelves displaying American Metal's Limited Edition single-barrel, small-batch whiskey bottles.
Guests can enjoy an impressive selection of drinks, including Nod Hill Brews, Two Roads Brewing, Counter Weight Brewing, Reverie Brewing, and more. Signature small-batch cocktails feature premium brands such as Vengeance Vodka, Litchfield Distillery, Costa Tequila, Campari, Suntory Global Spirits, Freixenet, and Peroni Italia. Non-alcoholic options, such as Pepsi beverages and local Quartertone Coffee, are also available at the concession stand alongside snacks and cookies from Whistle Stop Bakery.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Ridgefield Playhouse Executive Director Ashley Paltauf expressed her gratitude for the vibrant new addition to the lobby. She thanked donors for their support and participation in the event, noting that the Playhouse is entering its 25th year—a milestone worthy of celebration alongside the new American Metal Fueling Station.
Donors were treated to an exclusive preview of the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance’s beloved Nutcracker performance, now in its 24th year. The cherished tradition served as the perfect way to kick off the holiday season, enhanced by old-fashioned cocktails and the festive ambiance of the newly unveiled bar.
