Thank you for the great news John Goetz (via Twitter). Last night, both Ridgefield girls' and boys' outdoor track teams captured the 2024 FCIAC championship titles! “The girls ran away with the title with 126.5 points to runner-up Danbury's 81. The boys had a tougher time but squeaked by Danbury 137-134. Congratulations to the athletes and coaches who made this happen!” says Goetz.
And, more Tiger pride by way of the FCIAC semi-final softball game last night, Maddie Pickett was MVP leading the Tigers to conference finals for the first time since 2002! By the way, it was a nailbitter lasting 15 innings! Watch it in action via GameTime by clicking the arrow below.
