The backdrop of Paris awaits at Brasserie Saint Germain in downtown Ridgefield

The backdrop of Paris awaits inside Brasserie Saint Germain, a new French restaurant located at 470 Main Street.

Former owners of Sucré Salé, Virginie and Frank Bonnaudet and their partner Olivier have transformed the former home of Yuan Asian Cuisine into a charming French brasserie where a relaxing outdoor cafe vibe (complete with trees) meets upscale traditional French cuisine.

With (really cool) champagne bottle lamps throughout, the slice of European heaven has two dining areas - one with a bistro-vibe, comfy seating area, full bar, and small library, and the other that boasts formal-style dining.

Brasserie Saint Germain will open to the public next week (Monday through Saturday) for lunch (11:30 am to 3:00 pm) and dinner (4:30 to 9:30 pm).

Brasserie Saint Germain website is coming soon!
