Prime Burger has a new owner, and it's all in the family! After a career in corporate dining, Palmer Sperry, the son of co-founder and co-owner Bob Sperry, has taken the reins of the popular burger hub from Anthony Valente and Eddie Bistany.
Prime Burger opened its doors on Main Street in Ridgefield on April 14, 2014, and has become a local staple - serving up juicy burgers, fries, crowd-favorite milkshakes, and more! Not only did owners Ed Bistany, Anthony Valente, and Bob Sperry make hungry locals (very) happy and satisfied, they during their tenure as owners, they supported so many of our nonprofits and employed our high school students - many for the first time!
Now, Palmer will continue the restaurant's legacy, working alongside his dad, Bob. Congratulations! Palmer took to Facebook to announce the exciting news and thank loyal customers and Prime Burger staff.
I am so excited to be taking over as the owner/manager of Prime Burger. First I want to thank Eddie Bistany, Anthony Valente and my dad Bob Sperry for starting this burger joint on Main Street almost nine years ago.
Since the beginning, Prime Burger has stood for delicious burgers, thick shakes, fair value and a family friendly place. That will never change. What will change is more innovative specials and fresh ideas! We've already done a burger topped with brisket from HooDoo Brown BBQ and Philly cheesesteaks with more exciting collaborations on the way!
I also want to thank our loyal staff. They are the best!! Please say hi to me the next time you come in. Your feedback is always welcomed.
