Congratulations to Ridgefield's Daniel C. Levine who will be honored at the Jane Doe No More Annual Gala

On Friday, April 1, ACT of Connecticut Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine will be honored by the nonprofit Jane Doe No More at their 11th Annual Gala. Levine, together with composer David Friedman is the 2022 Dr. Henry C. Lee Award recipient. 

Jane Doe No More empowers survivors of sexual crimes to find their voice, advance their healing and educate others

The nonprofit explains, "In 2019, inspired by our survivors, Daniel generously created and directed an original show for Jane Doe No More titled We Can Be Kind’ David generously provided his original music for the show which premiered to rave reviews."

Dr. Henry C. Lee was the recipient of the first award in 2010. Each year since, Jane Doe No More honors individuals and organizations that exemplify Dr. Lee's passion to advance sexual crime education and prevention as well as advocate and support survivors to assure that all victims of sexual crimes are treated with dignity and respect.

Jane Doe No More was founded by Connecticut resident Donna Palomba, the victim of a violent crime that took place in 1993. You can read Donna's story here.

The Roaring 20s Gatsby-themed Gala will take place at The Waterview in Monroe, CT.
