Weekend Update: Colin Jost takes to Ridgefield Playhouse stage to announce his wife Scarlett Johansson is pregnant!

The Ridgefield Playhouse made Page Six!

Social media is buzzing today with the news that Colin Jost and wife Scarlett Johansson are having a baby! And, if you were at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, you were among the first to hear the exciting news! 

The SNL Weekend Update host performed two shows under the Playhouse Tent on Sunday before a packed audience and broke the news that his wife was pregnant.  Page Six writes, "While performing at a stand-up gig at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut over the weekend, Jost said, We’re having a baby, it’s exciting, according to a source in the audience.” The source? We're not sure but if you are reading this, let us know! 

The Playhouse took to social media today, "So happy for our friend Colin Jost and his wife Scarlett Johansson who announced they're pregnant on the outdoor stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse!" 

Jost has won four Writers Guild Awards, a Peabody Award and has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards for his writing on “SNL.” Jost graduated from Harvard University and is from Staten Island, N.Y.

According to Page Six, Jost and the Oscar-nominated actress wed in October 2020 after three years of dating.
