Ridgefield resident Sandra Lea Duffy, 73, has died

Sandra Lea Duffy, 73, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, surrounded by her children, passed peacefully on December 7, 2020. “Sandy” is survived by her five (5) loving children, Amie L. DiGuiseppi, of Troy, Virginia, Christine DiGuiseppi (and Vincent Masotta), of Ridgefield, Connecticut, Stanley L. DiGuiseppi, Jr. (and Jeanette DiGuiseppi), of Seymour, Connecticut, Jonathan J. DiGuiseppi, of Wilton, Connecticut and Kelley A. Clark (and Frank Clark, IV), of Ridgefield, Connecticut. She is also survived by six (6) grandchildren, Alex DeMontbel, Marcello DeMontbel, Auden Masotta, Jack DiGuiseppi, Max DiGuiseppi and Iris Clark, and a sister, Mary Ellen Duffy Lench (and John Lench), of Bluemont, Virginia.

Sandy grew up in Westport, Connecticut and was the daughter of James J. and Edythe A. Duffy, both of whom preceded her in passing. Sandy attended Silvermine Art College and enjoyed painting in oils and sculpting. The joy of her life was her children and her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing Holiday meals for her children and grandchildren. Her calm and quiet ways will be deeply missed. We will carry her memory in our hearts always.

A family service will be held in the spring at the time of Sandy’s birthday.
