Ridgefield Attorney Dies In Plane Crash Off Long Island Sound

New York State police have released the identity of the two bodies recovered from the submerged aircraft by Police Divers as a result of Saturday's plane crash off Long Island Sound.

Suffolk County Medical Examiner reports the victims as Jennifer Landrum, 45 years of age, of Augusta, Georgia and Richard P Terbrusch, 53 of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Terbrusch was a Family Law & Divorce Lawyer with a practice based in Danbury.

The first body recovered was identified on Sunday as 41-year-old Waterbury resident, Munidat Persaud who was the owner of the plane.

According to New York State Police, on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at approximately 10:59 AM numerous 911 calls were made of a small plane that went down in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 1 mile off the beach near Dune Road in the Village of Quogue.

The plane took off from Waterbury-Oxford Airport and made a stop at Danbury Municipal Airport before it crashed.

The incident is still under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
