
After reviewing 28,561 U.S. public high schools U.S. News and World Report has announced their Best High School Rankings for 2016. Ridgefield has been ranked #5 of 61 Connecticut high schools listed in the report. Nationally, Ridgefield is ranked #235. Read the national rankings here.
U.S. News says of Ridgefield High School, "Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Ridgefield High School is 72 percent. The student body makeup is 51 percent male and 49 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 11 percent."
In total, the Nutmeg State earned 11 gold medal schools, 37 silver medal schools and 13 bronze medal schools.
