
Yesterday, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation encouraged residents to “Give Where You Live”.
“You made Fairfield County’s Giving Day a true community-wide philanthropic event, spotlighting the amazing local nonprofits in our towns,” Fairfield County’s Community Foundation said.
A whopping 14,022 gifts totaling $1,066,091.00 were raised for local nonprofits, all in just 24 hours via online donations at FCGives.org.

Two dozen area kids with insufficient health insurance will now benefit from a full physical exam and all the required immunizations they need to attend school, daycare, summer camp and to play sports. Thanks for Giving!
Thank you to everyone who generously supported the Women's Center yesterday on the second annual Fairfield County Giving Day - there are so many amazing and worthy local nonprofits, so we especially appreciate you thinking of us.
