Known as a wunderkind in blues circles, Jonny Lang started playing guitar at 12 and is now considered a blues legend. This Grammy® award-winning artist will return to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, July 21, at 8 p.m. His first album was Smokin’ (multi-Platinum) followed by Lie to Me. He has toured with the finest musicians including the Rolling Stones and B. B. King. Lang has toured with the Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy, Aerosmith, B.B. King, Blues Traveler, Jeff Beck and Sting. He’s been to the White House to play for President and Mrs. Clinton, made a cameo appearance in the film “Blues Brothers 2000” and in 2004, Eric Clapton asked Lang to play at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. At age 30, Lang is a blues legend who plays to standing- room- only audiences.
