Two New Directors at Laurel Ridge

Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, recently announced the appointment of two new directors to its clinical staff. Jo-Ann Henion, RN, has been promoted to the Director of Nursing Services and is responsible for providing clinical oversight for the entire nursing department of the 126 bed skilled nursing facility. She received her Master’s in Nursing degree from Pace University and has been at Laurel Ridge for over 5 years. Prior to that, Jo-Ann has practiced in a several clinical settings and has a rich and varied background in health care. In her new role, she will focus on patient-centered care with an emphasis on developing staff and maintaining high standards in the quality of care received by residents and patients. She currently resides in Danbury.

As the newly appointed Assistant Director of Nursing Services, Laurel Ridge welcomes Barbara Doetsch to its staff. Barbara has been a registered nurse for about 30 years and received her Master’s in Nursing from Lienhard School of Nursing. She comes to Laurel Ridge from a similar health care center in New York and she brings substantial experience in the long-term care and rehabilitation setting. In her new role, she will support the mission of delivering the highest quality of care with comprehensive programs and treatments to enable patients to maximize their capabilities. She currently resides in Pine Bush, NY.
