Greater Norwalk Chamber Announces New President, Shannon O'Toole-Giandurco

Norwalk, CT — The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon O’Toole-Giandurco as its new President. Shannon O-Toole-Giandurco rises from her current position as the Chamber’s Director of Membership to take on her new role as of August 2, 2024.The Greater Norwalk Chamber plays a vital role in fostering economic development, promoting local businesses, and advocating for community interests. Shannon O’Toole-Giandurco brings experience in business development and a strong commitment to Norwalk’s vibrant community. Her leadership is expected to build upon the Chamber’s legacy of service and strengthen its impact on the local economy.

This leadership transition, prompted by the resignation of Chamber President Brian Griffin, effective August 1st, and the appointment of Shannon as the new president, marks a time of new beginnings for the Chamber. Following an extensive search process for the right candidate, Shannon was selected to lead the Chamber. Known for its proactive support of businesses and organizations in Norwalk, the Chamber is facilitating a smooth transition, promising a bright future.

"I started my career and community involvement in Norwalk many years ago, and to now be leading the Chamber is a realization beyond my wildest dreams. As a proud Norwalk native, my family and I cherish our community deeply. I am particularly proud to be the first female to hold this role, and I am eager to contribute to the Chamber’s growth and success in the future."
