Why did you start your business?

We both come from a long line of amazing Italian cooks. My husband and I love to make great food and entertain guests and if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life. We look at the restaurant as an extension of our home!

What is your best-selling product/service?

During the week it's Pizza. Pizza. Pizza. On the weekends Zuppa Di Pesce is the big seller!

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Yes, Davinci's has been a local staple for decades. The take-out business has always been booming. When we took over we kept the menu (because everyone loved it but we wanted our place to feel like a slice of Arthur Ave right on Connecticut Ave) we decided to elevate the in-the-house dining experience.

We gave the dining room a new facelift and try to give each guest an Authentic NY Italian Dining experience. At dinner, we give them a little snack of assorted meats, cheeses, and olives before their meal and they will see our kids bussing the table and washing the dishes. For the hour or so you are here - you are family!
