Pizza, pizza! Don't let the name fool you, Butchers & Bakers in Farmington touts itself as new American cuisine, but with a menu of mostly pizza and pasta, new Italian is a more appropriate description.
Hidden away in what appears to be an office park, B&B has a large, gorgeous patio that is screaming for summer weather. Unfortunately, it was raining when I dined there, but if the sun is shining, I recommend taking full advantage of the outdoor space.
The food, however, took a very long time to come out, and I had to leave early, so I only got a taste of the appetizers (that cheesy bread is a good as it looks), pizza (I was a fan of the local cow), and a peach salad that could be improved with a lighter dressing and removing the tomatoes, which I confused for peaches on several bites.
I recommend checking this new place out with a bunch of friends, on the patio with copious cocktails and a pizza or two to share.
