At their May event, Hearts of Hope volunteers in Newtown painted hearts for Healing Hearts at the Regional Hospice and Home Care in Danbury, CT.
Yesterday, Wednesday, June 15, their team delivered more than 160 hearts to the staff of Healing Hearts at Regional Hospice for distribution in the various bereavement support groups that they run for children, teens, and adults. "They were most appreciative of our gifts and knew that they would resonate with the individuals receiving them in their groups," Hearts of Hope wrote on their Facebook Page.
"Thank you, Healing Hearts, for the love and care with which you treat individuals on their grief journey. We were honored to share these gifts of hope with you and look forward to partnering with you again," Hearts of Hope said.
