Opened in 2002, the Waveny Pool is now the Steve Benko Pool at Waveny Park in memorial to the passing of our long-time town Recreation Director.
In addition to the summertime fun, it provides a great place to meet family and friends for a swim offering swim lessons, a competitive swim team, dive team and water polo team, lap swim lanes, diving well with two diving boards and a "kiddie" pool with a giant mushroom water feature and playful water jets.
A full-service snack bar along with welcoming shade structures and chairs for patrons enhance your comfort at the pool.
