LiveGirl Launches Advisory Council at Critical Time in Expansion

New Canaan, Connecticut - LiveGirl is excited to announce the launch of a new Advisory Council that will champion women and girls and extend LiveGirl’s reach and impact.

LiveGirl Founder and CEO Sheri West shared, “These advisors join us at a critical time as we continue to lead forward through the pandemic and support mental health.” West continued, “Their expertise will allow us to build capacity so that more girls can realize their futures as leaders.”  The LiveGirl Advisory Council will meet three times per year to share their expertise in leadership development, college and career readiness, diversity and inclusion, and corporate networking in support of LiveGirl's mission.

The Advisory Council is composed of the following eight highly successful and talented women:

  • Anne Buehl: Founding Partner, Rocaton Investment Advisors, Chair of Brown University's Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women
  • Indira Desai Christie, Founder, and CEO of Ripa Wear Inc., Business
  • Executive, Strategic Consultant
  • Fran Hauser: Startup Investor, Advisor, Board Member, bestselling author “The Myth of the Nice Girl”
  • Shaz Kahng: CEO, Author, and Board Member at GoPro
  • Carol Morley: Founder and CEO at The Imprint Group
  • Simone Morris: Inclusive Leadership Expert, Podcast Host, Career Growth Expert
  • Brooke Reid: Chief Capital Officer at Affirm and Board Member at Anaplan
  • Amy Weisman: Managing Director, Sterling Investment Partners, Forbes 50 Women over 50
