The Encore Club of New Canaan Committee Chairs -- Meg Petersen, Pat Timberlake and Christina Fagerstal (l-r)-- have organized a luncheon at Pesca Peruvian Bistro in New Canaan on Thursday, March 7. Pesca is new to town and was recently written up in New Canaan-Darien Magazine, touted as “Best New Bites." The event’s speaker will be Susan Theriot, who will talk about health, wellness and fitness.
Guests are welcome to attend the luncheon, along with a member or on their own as a way to learn about the Club. Encore is a social club founded in 1985 by a group of New Canaan women looking to pursue friendship through a variety of activities. Membership is ongoing throughout the year and open to all women who reside in New Canaan and the surrounding area. Activities include Book Group, Hiking, Bridge, Critics Corner movie night, summer golf and tennis, as well as couples cocktail parties and more.
