The Library’s Annual Meeting with special guest speaker Adam R. Rose is Sunday, January 31 at 4 pm.
Mr. Rose is a prominent real estate developer and philanthropist. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University and serves as Co-President of Rose Associates, a 90-year-old family business with headquarters in New York City. Adam is married to Peter R. McQuillan, a retired Sergeant from the NYPD. Adam and Peter have made substantial contributions to the Town of Lewisboro and its institutions ever since they arrived in 1994. Projects include the Frederick P. Rose Preserve, the AP Farm Athletic Fields, support for the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps, support for the Field of Dreams, support for the John Jay Tennis Courts, and the naming of the Reading Room at the Lewisboro Library. The couple also named facilities at the New York Botanical Garden and the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden as well as at the Jacob Burns Film Center.
Mr. Rose will speak on “Building a Life, Building Community.” The presentation will be preceded by a short business meeting.
