Evelyne R. Matthews
Conference Topic: Leadership Uncorked: Sheroes Unpacking Their Luggage and Baggage
Cutting edge strategic leadership requires a consistent sojourn of self-reflection. Embracing emotional intelligence, engaging in an individual SWOT analysis and immersing oneself in a mapping exercise are all example of such a journey. This specific presentation will discuss how leaders must unpack excessive baggage and luggage that come to us in the form of items and people. The result is a competitive disadvantage in terms of being “over the limit” when we seek passage from one interaction or assignment to the next. Avoiding becoming emotional hijacked and developing a playbook for managing stress are a few examples of strategies that will be presented.
