Local Business Champion: Sandra Eagle, LCSW, SEP Transformational Psychotherapy
Meet Sandra Eagle, who operates her Transformational Psychotherapy business in Greenwich.
Why did you start your business?
I believe I am gifted in seeing the best in people, and my commitment is to facilitate you in generating a life that honors what really matters to you, cultivating a robust engagement with others and with a sense of Purpose.
Tell us a bit about your business philosophy
Mine is a heart-mind-spirit approach, working with all ages, and with a full range of issues. I also work with techniques that help you shift from a dysregulated nervous system (anxiety, panic, anger management, depression and other symptoms are often a result of a nervous system wired in fight/flight/or freeze) to a resilient one, leaving you grounded and clear thinking in the face of challenge.
What role does community play in your approach to helping clients?
There are various services that can benefit my clients, e.g. divorce and grief groups, LGBTQ+ support, etc and I network with these services. Greenwich Jewish Family Services is an organization with a full range of support and community services that I refer to.
Have you reimagined your business?
I have a deep meditation practice personally, and I had an epiphany many years ago, that it is Love that heals, and Love is Divine, so my card has since had the tag line 'a blend of techniques from the consciousness and psychotherapeutic traditions to facilitate a breakthrough and promote growth and well-being'.
