The Junior League of Greenwich is excited to present the renowned 3-day The Enchanted Forest, a jam-packed holiday weekend open to all at the Bruce Museum.
“The Enchanted Forest” (TEF) is an iconic community event hosted by the volunteers of the Junior League of Greenwich for over 50 years. This is the second year at the Bruce Museum. The event kicks off the holiday season with a cocktail party on Friday night followed by family days on Saturday and Sunday. TEF’s main focus is its forest of beautifully decorated trees donated by professional decorators, retail shops, and holiday lovers, who create trees in various styles including some focused on kids. All the trees are available for bidding in their silent auction so you can take home your favorite and enjoy. One of the most popular areas of TEF is the Children’s Giving Shop. In this special, secured area, children 5 years and older independently shop for gifts for loved ones, under the supervised care of Junior League members who will wrap the gifts so they remain a surprise for the child to present at the holiday. While the kids shop, so can the parents at the Holiday Boutique which is open the entire weekend. Vendors include: B’s Hive, Brushstrokes by Tam, Chickmagnets NY LLC, Dogwood Books and Gifts, Fleurissant Newport, LLF Studio, Melissa Bamber Home, Paper Decor, Singular, She Sells These Shells, and Pinky of Greenwich- with art glass, bags, shoes, jewelry, gifts, and more.
Family admission packages include options to have a special visit and photo with Santa (taken by professional photographer Alex Rosenfeld), decorate gingerbread houses to take home, and plenty of activities and crafts for children. Our Visits & Photos with Santa are limited, so guests are encouraged to purchase these packages early!
This fundraiser supports the Junior League of Greenwich which has been making an impact in Greenwich for 65 years. The Junior League’s current focus is youth wellness and education with programs such as Positively Me! Some of our past projects include the Greenwich Pool at Byram Park, and the Boundless Playground at Bruce Park.

Join us for a fun, very social ‘Sip, Stroll, and Shop’ in the stunning Grand Hall of the Bruce Museum, catered by Aux Delices. Walk through and bid on the trees from the Enchanted Forest, one more stunning than the next. Enjoy a private viewing of the galleries of the Bruce Museum for the first hour of the reception, including a brand-new exhibit. Get your holiday shopping done early in our Holiday Boutique for gifts you won’t find anywhere else. There will be a few vendors who will only be at our cocktail party!

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23-24: Family Days
Bring your children for a special Holiday experience on our Family Days, which include the much-loved Children's Giving Shop for kids 5 and older to shop for gifts for family and friends. Take photos with Santa, enjoy the arts and crafts, and holiday-themed games, and stroll through our beautiful Christmas trees.
The Enchanted Forest – Visitors can view our exclusive, individually designed trees decorated by local businesses, designers, and individual contributors. The online auction to bid on these trees will be open all weekend.

The Giving Shop - The Children’s Giving Shop at The Enchanted Forest is a child-centered area where children 5 and older can shop independently for holiday gifts. Staffed and stocked by JLG members, each child will be escorted through the shop without parents to find the perfect gift on their shopping list for friends and family. Volunteers and JLG elves will assist children with their shopping and wrap all of the presents, so the gifts remain a surprise for the recipients. It is sure to be a memorable, unique, and fun experience for the little ones.
Gingerbread House Decorating - Decorate your very own gingerbread house to take home! An assembled house is provided, along with all of the candy and icing you could wish to create your own masterpiece. Additional take-home kits are also available and can be purchased at the event or online with the rest of your tickets to be picked up at the event.
