GHS' Holiday Boutique to Showcase Gift Ideas to Benefit Arts & Education

GREENWICH, CT – Greenwich Historical Society’s annual shopping extravaganza at Greenwich Country Club will feature 38 vendors and artisans who will display distinctive and one-of-a kind items for all age groups. An opening night reception with complimentary drinks, light hors d ‘oeuvres and music kicks-off the boutique on Wednesday, December 4th from 5:30 – 8pm in the Club’s elegant ballroom. The boutique is open for more shopping on Thursday, December 5th from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.

“Each year the bar is raised for giving the community a carefully curated selection of high quality and distinctive merchandise from local area vendors coupled with a selection from the Hamptons and Europe,” says Historical Society Director of Special Events Daniel Suozzo. “We know what the Greenwich-area market favors and we’re confident attendees will find something for everyone on their list, whether it’s luxurious fashion and home accessories, exquisite fine and costume jewelry, culinary goods, holiday decorations or charming gifts for children.”

“We’re thrilled to have several new local organizations join us, among them are Stamford’s gingerbread lady, Gingerbitz, for delicious treats and festive centerpieces, and Old Greenwich’s The Village Ewe, one of the premier needlepoint shops in the country,” says Suozzo. Owner Heather McNally and her staff have assembled a magical selection of holiday themed canvasses: “We have canvases for every skill level, including some great child and adult beginner kits that would be a perfect gift for the new stitchers,” according to McNally.

Pamela Scott, a longtime local-area Boutique vendor of luxurious clothing, jewelry and home accessories, with a national following, says her customers eagerly await Holiday Boutique. “It’s a festive occasion and a great source for unique and wonderful offerings.”  Greenwich Country Club is located at 19 Doubling Rd., Greenwich.
