The 58th Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale will kick off on Saturday, November 30th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of First Congregational Church of Greenwich (108 Sound Beach Avenue), just across from Binney Park.
Every purchase comes with a purpose. Funds raised through the sale will be given to nine local charities that serve families and children. The charities include Kids in Crisis, Greenwich Alliance for Education, New Covenant Center, Mothers for Others, Pacific House, The Undies Project, The YWCA Harmony Project, The United Way Youth Mental Health Initiative and Call-A-Ride.
“We’re thrilled to continue this cherished annual tradition of offering high-quality trees to our neighbors while also providing crucial grants to support local charities,” said a co-chair of the 2024 Annual Tree Sale. “This year, we’re excited to offer a larger selection of trees as well as a new range of balsam and mixed greens wreaths. Additionally, we’ll have artisan-crafted bows and beautifully decorated wreaths available for purchase.”
The annual tree and wreath sale is a beloved community tradition, with volunteers of all ages, including church members, representatives from the benefiting charities, and students from Greenwich schools. Shoppers are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection. For more information, visit www.fccog.org.
