You're IT Italian Kitchen!
Four questions with Dominick Giresi, founder of Italian Kitchen.
Why did you start your business?
I was a young 25-year-old working in corporate America feeling unfulfilled and that's when I decided to go into the family business and open an Italian Kitchen with my dad.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Our bestselling product has to be our penne vodka, it's my grandmother's recipe with my twist.
Our bestselling service is our Dine-in Mozzarella Making Class, a six-course dinner where you make your very own fresh mozzarella.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Many of our products are imported or homemade. For the products that are not imported, we try and keep them local by using Wade's/Cutrufello's dairy out of Bridgeport, produce we use Ruggiero's Produce & Globe restaurant equipment in Bridgeport.
Yes! Our vision includes expanding and adding a modern version of a traditional family-style Italian restaurant. We also currently working on bringing our mozzarella-making experience to our customers and will begin taking reservations this coming September.
