Why Small Businesses  Matter

Meet Mark Savoia, founder of Still River Editions.

Why did you start your business?

We started as a professional photo lab in 1987, the area needed our services. As the digital transition happened, we also transitioned into offering digital imaging services, scanning and printing.

What is your best selling product or service?

… our capabilities to scan large artwork and make large format archival digital prints.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business in terms of products and services? Can you name them?

We do work for many independent artists and museums. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and The Danbury Museum, to name a few.

Have you “reimagined” your small business?

Yes, by keeping it small and personable.
