Danbury resident Matthew D Patton, 26, DHS grad, has died

Matthew D. Patton, age 26 passed away July 6, 2021. He was born in Danbury, Connecticut on November 18, 1994. Matthew was a Danbury High School graduate. Matthew was a free spirit and loved people, especially his family and close friends. He was an exceptional writer and spent many hours writing in his journals. Matthew loved to cook for his friends and family, and always put his own unique spin on what he was making. He loved to hike and to be outside doing just about anything. Matthew was a server at the Barn Door Restaurant, where he loved and touched all of the people he met. He loved all sports, especially lacrosse and basketball. One of his favorite things to do was to play these sports with his younger siblings and cousins.

Matthew will be sadly missed by his parents, Christopher Prodoti and Kristen and Tim Luchsinger, his sister, Madison, his brothers, Taheton, Drew, Brett, and Cooper. Matthew will also be missed by his grandparents, Michael Prodoti, Ann Patton and Debbie Patton. His many aunts and uncles, Annie and Matt Healey, Teri Prodoti, Christine Highsmith, David Patton Jr, Dan Patton, Kathy Patton, Dennis and Jennifer Patton, and Erin and Ian Merritt, and many Great Aunts, Great Uncles, and Cousins. Matthew will join his beloved grandmother, Deborah Prodoti, his grandfather, David Patton, his aunt, Diana Patton, and uncle, Doug Patton.

Anyone wishing to celebrate Matthew’s life is welcome to join his family on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 11:30 am. King Street United Church of Christ. 201 S.
