Who knew that Croton has it's very own weather station. Tucked in between thw river and the utility building at Black Rock Park is a fully functioning data collection station that measures wind speed, direction, precipitation, barometric pressure and temperature. The station is part of The River Estuary Observatory Netwok, and is run by The Beacon Institute in cooperation with Clarkson University.
