Schmitt was seeking to regain his position as Supervisor after losing the in 2021 primary election to Cazzar. Scmitt had served 14 years as Town Supervisor prior to the 2021 primary loss.
Incumbent Councilmen Frank Lombardi and newcomer Robert Kearns won the race for the 2 open seats on the Town Council. Incumbent Robert Schanil, Jr. finished third in the race for the 2 seats.
