Whether you’ve got more cuttings than you know what to do with or just love adding something new to your windowsill, the Plant Swap at Rainy Day Paperback is the perfect place to connect with fellow plant lovers. On Saturday, April 12 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, head to 81 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel for a laid-back afternoon of trading indoor plants and sharing garden know-how.

There’s no cost to participate and no requirement to take a plant if you don’t have one to give. If you’ve got leftover seed packets cluttering your drawer, bring those too—someone else might put them to good use.

From May through October, the event is held outdoors (weather permitting), and participants are welcome to bring outdoor perennials. During the colder months—November through April—the swap moves indoors and is limited to houseplants only.

Stop by, share what you’ve got, and leave with a new green companion—or just some inspiration.
