St. Rose of Lima Parish Announces Carnival Dates:
Tuesday, June 23rd through Saturday June 27th
St. Rose of Lima Parish in Newtown is pleased to announce that it will host its annual Carnival on the
parish grounds beginning on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2015 and running through
Saturday, June 27, 2015.
As in past years, the popular area carnival will feature rides and games by Stewart Amusement, from 6 – 10:30pm each evening, as well as a Fun Tent with spin art and face painting for friends of all ages, and games for the younger carnival goers. Each evening will feature enjoyable live entertainment. Food will be plentiful, and include burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, fried dough and various desserts along with nightly specials from local area restaurants; including sausage & peppers, pulled pork sandwiches, pasta, meatballs and eggplant. Ride bracelets will be available for $25 per night.
Proceeds from this year’s Carnival will be used to support parish needs.
