Assad Habshey, also known as Mike, started Grassy Plain Pizzeria in 1995 as a small takeout pizza place with limited menu.  Mike has assembled pies to order with quality ingredients and reasonable prices ever since.  Through the years Grassy Plain Pizzeria has created “The House Pizza” one of their most popular pizzas consisting of Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatballs, Anchovies, Green Peppers, Onion.  Are you drooling yet?

Mike takes great pride in his homemade, all-in-the-family pizza and has established a devoted following.  Mike is grateful to have survived over 17 years in a small town with no shortage of pizza joints and wanted to offer his customers more so the expansion was an easy decision. 

Grassy Plain Pizzeria recently expanded into a cozy, friendly, home town pizzeria with a Mediterranean flare.  The recent expansion allowed for a menu expansion as well.  Pizza will of course remain on the menu as well as the traditional Italian dishes.  The expanded menu will offer Middle Eastern cuisine including: Tabbouli, Hummus, Falafel, Shish Kabob and even homemade desserts such as baklava. Grassy Plain Pizzeria truly has something for everyone!

A full sit down menu is now being offered from appetizers to dessert as well as beer and wine all at very reasonable prices.  The added dining room is beautiful and accented with gorgeous light fixtures making it a great place to hold your next birthday party, business meeting or event.
