The Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut's ESCAPE to the Arts invites artists working in all media to submit artwork for consideration in the upcoming exhibition The Faces, Places and Spirit of Our Community. This juried show will run from October 1 through November 4 in the Art Gallery at ESCAPE to the Arts, Danbury, CT.
Works of art should relate to the theme of community and fall under one of the following categories:
• Faces: Examples of portraiture (individual or groups) depicting people in our community
• Places: Locations, landmarks, destinations and other places in our community
• Spirit: Works that portray a more artistic interpretation of community
Prizes will be awarded to the best in show for each category. Deadline for entries is September 26.
