On Saturday, August 20th, at 2 pm, HSBC of Ridgefield presents “A Comedy of Errors,” produced by Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and the Ridgefield Playhouse, on the green near the Playhouse. Shakespeare’s classic, “A Comedy of Errors” is one of the most famous and hilarious plays ever written. Get ready to discover the re-invented, re-invigorated story of two sets of identical twins, separated at birth, that arrive in the same town and unravel the truth through hilarious mishaps and side splitting fun.
Dedicated on communicating the stories of Shakespeare with energy, clarity and invention, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival acting company challenges their audiences to take a fresh look at what is truly essential in Shakespeare's plays. The group has grown dramatically since its first show in 1987. It is now a critically-acclaimed regional theater, attracting audiences of over 32,000 from the tri-state area and beyond. Don’t miss your chance to experience Shakespeare for FREE!
Prior to the show, from 12 Noon to 2 pm, Bruce Bennett Nissan, Benziger Family Winery, HSBC of Ridgefield, Nature’s Temptations, Hearst CT Media, Pepsi, Practically Green, Ridgefield Bicycle Co., Udo Fit, Villarina’s Pasta and Fine Foods, and more will be on hand for a green expo. These local businesses will be selling their products, as well as giving out information about their green businesses. Plus, there will be face painting by Enchanted Garden!
