2012 marks the 60^th Anniversary of the 1952 Stamford, CT Little Bigger League 13-15 Yr Old World Series Championship.

The team, pictured above and led by pitching ace Andy Wasil, had won the Little League World Series in 1951 and went on to win the Little Bigger League 13-15 year old World Series the next two years, 1953 and 1954, as well. The Little Bigger League was the predecessor to the National Babe Ruth program, and the Little Bigger League World Series would eventually become the Babe Ruth 13-15 year old World Series.
