TheTigers beat the Staples Wreckers 6-3 on Saturday night to move their season record to 16-2 and keep tied with Darien for 1st place in the FCIAC conference.

The Wreckers got out to a fast start with a goal in the first minute of the game, but Senior Johnny Richards tied it at one a minute later with a his seventh of the year. The Tigers went on to score twice more in the first period on goals from Sean Wilkinson (22) and Timmy Kelly (14) to take a 3-1 lead to the locker room.

The Tigers added three more goals with tallies from Jack Christensen (8) with an assist from Senior Brendan Bossidy, Junior Danny McMullan with an assist from Wilkie and Cam McGuire, and the final goal with his second of the game from Senior Timmy Kelly.
