Volunteers Needed

CT Food Bank Mobile Pantry is coming to town & volunteers are needed

On June 8th the Connecticut Food Bank mobile pantry unit will be stationed in Ridgefield on Haplin Lane. Fresh Produce, baked goods, and food staples will be distributed from 11am to 12pm and on the second Friday of every moth thereafter.

Volunteers are needed to help organize and distribute food.

Ridgefield Arts Council & other Town Committees have vacancies

Did you know that the Ridgefield Arts Council fosters and promotes community involvement by expanding opportunities to make the arts an interactive experience for everyone?  In addition, we organize workshops and guest lectures on issues relevant to artistic endeavors, provide networking opportunities, explore grants and other sources of funding, and provide an annual report to the Board of Selectmen.  We meet monthly at Town Hall and currently have two vacancies.

Blood Drive at the Ridgefield Recreation Center

The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Friday, April 20th from 1:30 pm to 7 pm at the Ridgefield Recreation Center.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, click HERE.

DAWS needs Foster Parents

Foster Parent Orientation Session Saturday, May 5th 10:00 am DAWS Community Room.  DAWS can only keep a limited number of adult animals at the shelter. Some adults - and all of the puppies and kittens, are cared for by foster volunteers. It's a rewarding way to volunteer and can save the life of a dog. Click here for more information.
