109 Cheese and Wine is Celebrating American Cheesemakers and Brewmasters

On Sunday, November 13th at 5:30 pm, No. 109 Cheese and Wine Market is hosting a Curds and Brew Class at the shop.
October was American Cheese Month, so to end the celebration, they thought it would be fun to pair great American brews with some of our great American Artisan and Farmstead Cheese. The class will begin with beer fondue, then 6 beers and 6 cheeses to be paired.
Space is limited to 16 students. The cost is $45 per person and reservations can be made by calling, 203.438.5757
Beers:
Brooklyn Brewery Pilsner (NY), Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious (NY), Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale (NH), Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA (DE), Brooklyn Local 2 (NY), Captain Lawrence Nor’ Easter (NY), and Lagunitas Imperial Stout (CA).
Cheeses:
Rainbeau Ridge Chevre Lait Goat (NY), Willow Hill Farms Alderbrook Sheep (VT), Springbrook Farms Tarentaise Cow (VT), Meadow Creek Dairy Grayson Cow (VA), Cypress Grove Truffle Tremor Goat (CA), Point Reyes Blue Cow (CA), and Beecher’s Flagship Reserve Cheddar Cow (WA).
