Local Ridgefield business, Sticky-Nuts, is a company dedicated to making delicious, healthy, flavorful, energizing, and fun gourmet trail mixtures. Their products feature top quality nuts, seeds, and fruit with the addition of creative and fun twists. All of their products are all natural and naturally gluten free.
Sticky-Nuts was founded in early 2011 by the husband and wife team, Zachary and Rebecca Butlein. They have always been foodies and found themselves in the kitchen, more than anywhere else. In 2010, Rebecca was diagnosed with Lupus. She spent a year on-and-off various treatments and found that trail mix was what helped her survive, becoming one of the few foods that her body could tolerate. Rebecca quickly grew tired of the same old trail mix options and Sticky-Nuts was born.
After spending the summer and early fall at local farmers' markets selling their products, Sticky-Nuts is happy to announce their store debut at Ridgefield’s Nature’s Temptations!
When Zachary and Rebecca first moved to Ridgefield and were in the process of getting their health permits and licenses, they spent their free time visiting and learning about the surrounding area, hoping to find a kitchen that they could rent in their off hours. When the Zachary and Rebecca first walked into Nature’s Temptations, it felt like a home for Sticky-Nuts. So Zachary has spent the last couple of months cooking out of their kitchen and getting to know the chef and the owner, who have been like mentors. It was a natural progression for them to be the first to carry our products. Currently, they are carrying our Asian Fusion, Morning Grapefruit, Choco Spice, and PB Fig trail mixtures, and soon will have a seasonal mixture, Fall Festival.
