Camp Fine Dining ~ for Students 12-15 years of age!
This two week camp is perfect for those who are passionate about food. Do they watch the food network regularly? Won’t miss an episode of Top Chef? Then this is the activity for them. This experience will show them life in a real kitchen as well as what can be produced with hard work. The program will conclude with a private 5-course tasting dinner for the families on Thursday Aug. 18th
What they will learn:
Knife Skills
Stocks
Sauces
Butchering
Pasta making
Bread making
Protein and accompaniment Preparation
Menu Planning
Plating Design
Dates and time: August 9th-11th, August 16th – 18th from 9am-2pm
Cost: $625 which includes a beginner knife set and case plus two complimentary seats for the tasting dinner(additional seats available for $35, reservations must be made prior to the August 16th)
Requirements: A real interest in cooking, students will be taught how to act professionally in a commercial kitchen and treated as an intern(apprentice) chef
